How to stand out in a crowded B2B market?

Maximise your social media presence

Social media enables you to reach and interact with your audience. Not only can you leverage social media to increase brand awareness, but it also allows you to build trust and engage with your community. Ensure you are present on the relevant social media platforms to your audience. Check that your company profile is up to date and optimised, schedule regular posts using hashtags, encourage colleagues to share and engage with company content, and comment or reply to ensure success with social media.

Develop a content strategy

Content is king, and planning is key! Develop a content strategy to promote valuable, relevant and useful content that addresses the needs and pain points of your audience at the various stages in the sales process. Spend time defining your audience to understand what content would be engaging and interesting. Consider sharing ideas to educate and inspire to help make your content appealing and memorable to ensure your brand stays front of mind. Aim to create content in various formats such as blog posts, infographics, videos, whitepapers and webinars. Promote your content to align with your brand identity and marketing objectives. Consider using a flagship piece of content for lead generation campaigns.

Target your audience with paid ads

Paid advertising allows you to reach your ideal audience to increase brand awareness and drive traffic to a landing page or website to increase leads or conversions. Paid ads can help you to target a much broader audience.

Ensure your ads and landing pages are optimised with a clear CTA and test different creatives depending on your budget, audience and objectives. See our landing page guide for further tips and ideas to boost performance.

Understand what platform your audience is active on and how they are consuming ads, but be open to all channels and consider platforms such as TikTok, as they may hold more opportunities than you may realise.
