Time has flown by since leaving university and starting at Capsule Marketing, having been here for just over a month. Leaving university and stepping out to begin your career can be both daunting and exciting. Starting somewhere new, the change of routine and adapting to a new environment can pose unique challenges.
Starting at Capsule has been an exciting experience. It’s fun, fast-paced and varied, keeping each day interesting. You’re constantly learning new skills and adapting to new ways of working. One of the first things I noticed when starting at Capsule was the supportive culture and the passion they had for what they do, their team and their clients. The level of teamwork that goes on is really impressive, and learning how communication between clients, agencies and each area of the team is fascinating. Giving me the chance to expand my existing skillset in my field of study, pick up bits from areas of the agency that are new to me and go into shaping the agency as a whole.
Being in such a welcoming, positive and open-minded environment is extremely valuable and makes transitioning from university to the workplace a less intimidating and rewarding experience. Getting to work on such a range of projects and being around so many ways of thinking and working gives you an invaluable experience from which you can learn so much.
