Modern Slavery Policy

This statement has been published in accordance with Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. It sets out the steps taken by Zero Above Ltd, trading as Capsule Marketing, for the period of June 2022 to 2023 to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in its own business operations and supply chains.

Introduction

Capsule Marketing takes Modern Slavery seriously; slavery and human trafficking are serious crimes and a violation of fundamental human rights.

Capsule Marketing is fully committed to conducting our business fairly, ethically and with respect to fundamental human rights. We will not tolerate all forms of slavery, forced labour or servitude, child labour and human trafficking, both in our business and in our supply chains.

All employees and contractors are required to read and comply with this policy when working for, or on behalf of Capsule Marketing. Failure to comply with this policy may result in disciplinary action, including dismissal, or termination of the contract with contractors. It could also involve other legal steps being taken against our contractors.

Responsible Recruitment and Employment

We make appropriate checks on all employees, recruitment agencies and suppliers, to know who is working for, or on behalf of us. We ensure that all our employees are legally entitled to work in the UK.

Capsule Marketing provides every employee with a written Contract of Employment. We pay every employee in accordance with the law. We comply with our legal obligations to ensure the health and safety of all of our employees and workers, including in relation to working hours, rest breaks and holidays.

Due Diligence

We check to ensure that all of our suppliers comply with their legal obligations in relation to Modern Slavery and are committed to ensuring there is no slavery, forced labour, servitude, child labour or human trafficking taking place in their business, or any of your supply chains.

If a supplier is found to breach this policy or is found to have slavery or human trafficking in their business or knowingly in their supply chain, Capsule Marketing may terminate its contract and pursue legal remedies against the supplier.

Employees and contractors must immediately report any suspicions of Modern Slavery or human trafficking in our business or supply chains to our Senior Leadership Team. Our Senior Leadership Team will investigate within a reasonable time and take action as required.

None of our employees will suffer any detrimental treatment as a result of reporting any genuine concerns, raised in good faith, under this policy. This applies, even if after investigation, they are found to be mistaken. If any employee feels that they have suffered such treatment, they should refer to our Grievance and Whistleblowing Policies and follow the outlined procedure.

Monitoring and Review

Our Senior Leadership Team have overall responsibility for the effective operation of this policy and for ensuring compliance with the relevant statutory framework.

Managers and Team Leaders have a specific responsibility to ensure the fair application of this policy and all members of staff are responsible for supporting colleagues and ensuring its success.
