Concordat
When it comes to our website designs no two are the same. All of our designs are bespoke to your brand, your objectives and are designed with your customers in mind. This ensures you stand out in your market place and the design compliments your business objectives.
The majority of sites these days will have a high proportion of visitors on a mobile device or tablet, not just a desktop. This is why we design responsively so that your website looks great and functions perfectly across all devices.
Using the web isn’t an optional choice, it’s something that we need to use on a daily basis for work, entertainment and education. Our design team works toward the web content accessibility guidelines (WCAG) which aim to ensure that everyone visiting your site can access your content. We’ve worked with a number of public bodies such as the NHS and Suffolk Fire & Rescue where an accessible website is a legal requirement.
Our design team are all qualified in user experience and user interface (UX/UI) design which means that your website will be designed with user experience and conversions in mind.
This will make it easy for your visitors to find what they’re looking for and take the actions you want them to, such as ordering a product from your store, getting in contact with you or downloading your latest guide.
Our web designers work tirelessly to produce that picture-perfect vision and ensure all user journeys are simple & easy to follow whilst remaining aesthetically pleasing.
Our designers work closely with our digital marketing team to understand how their designs can affect the performance of SEO, PPC and social media campaigns. With search engines becoming smarter the design and the elements you include within the page can start to impact your digital campaigns.
Our design team also works closely with our web development team, even if we’re not the ones building your site. This makes sure that our designs are able to be translated pixel perfectly into code, so what you see in the design is what you get on the page.
Whether you’re running an eCommerce store with hundreds of products, showcasing your services or creating a portfolio there’s nothing our team of designers hasn’t already come across. With our experience across a wide range of sectors as well as different types of sites, we are positive you’ll fall in love with the design of your new website.
Our design process is grounded in the firm belief that you need to understand who you’re designing for and the outcomes you’re trying to achieve before getting stuck into the details.
The first step of any of our website design projects is to research what your competitors are doing, your brand, your values and the objectives you’re aiming for with your new design. This is a key part of the process that helps to steer your design project.
Once we have completed our research and understand your objectives it’s time to dig into the details and start to create a wireframe of the site. During this stage, we will lay out some of the basic elements of the page including the header, footer and key page elements.
Once we’ve created a basic wireframe it’s time to start building out the details of the site such as icon style, image tone and copy placement. During this process, we will follow your brand guidelines to make sure that your new site is consistent with your other marketing materials. If you haven’t got a set of brand guidelines this would be an ideal time to review this and create a single brand identity.
Once the wireframes of your pages have been completed we will share these with you and run through why we have made the choices we have. This is your chance to feedback on the designs we’ve created and suggest any amendments you’d like to make.
Once we have your feedback on the designs and any amendments you’d like to the designs we will get to work actioning your comments. We will always advise on best practice and usability but ultimately we want you to be happy with the final design.
Once we’ve actioned your feedback and amended our wireframe designs we will present them to you for your final comments and feedback. Once you’ve signed off on your designs they’re ready to be turned into a working site. We are able to build your site here at Capsule or you can take the designs away and build your website in-house.
At Capsule, we work hard to make sure your new website design delivers on your key objectives, not whatever the current trend is. This is achieved by involving all our disciplines across the business including our digital and development teams.
Our design team are experts in web design and have been designing successful sites for the last 10 years. Along with their experience in website design, they are also trained specifically in user experience (UX) design which means your customers will have no trouble using your site and are guided towards the action you want them to take.
Website design is an ever-evolving discipline and as such, we invest in regular training to ensure our team stays up to date with the latest best practice in design, UX and optimising your website for lead generation.
