Three month marketing campaign to an international audience to drive awareness of the advancements in plant-based food science

Following a successful tender win, Capsule Marketing were appointed by Norfolk & Suffolk Unlimited to develop a new campaign to promote five organisations within a Plant Science for Nutrition Cluster and HPO.  The objective of the campaign was to drive awareness of the advancements in plant-based food science, research and opportunities for collaboration and spin-outs.

The partner organisations we worked with were Norfolk & Suffolk Unlimited, University of East Anglia, Norwich Research Park, John Innes Centre, Quadram Institute and Earlham Institute.

We began by developing a range of concepts and in consultation with the partner organisations, launched ‘Plant Science Futures’ as a three month marketing campaign, to an international audience. We used a number of digital survey tools and online workshops to develop the winning concept.

As part of our campaign thinking, we launched a dedicated website hosting downloadable content from each of partner organisations and conducted a discussion webinar which was launched on the 4th August 2023 with over 140 sign-ups. The combination of these two solutions allowed us to highlight the strength of the Norfolk and Suffolk plant science cluster. Our unique approach allowed us to engage partners through online surveys, online, easy-to-use campaign toolkits, and a suite of creative assets.
