After some initial social media marketing activities we had carried out for Montreal Economic Institute (MEI), we recommended some video content to bolster their activity seeing as one of their objectives was to access a younger audience. After an initial scoping session, we curated the idea of spreading important messages to their audience through highly-detailed character animation using the same character throughout all the videos.
Off the back of the initial scoping session, we curated storyboards and scripts for each video where the client could make any amends before the production took place. Each scene in both videos was hand drawn by one of our animation artists and then animated with custom sound effects. The character design was also drawn up specifically for this project, keeping the same character throughout the videos for consistency.
