We developed a recruitment campaign for SFRS that highlighted the core themes of teamwork, community, career progression and inclusivity, building awareness around the role of being a modern wholetime firefighter.

The campaign messages and the creative thread was multi-faceted; on the surface, it was a recruitment message that appealed to all demographic groups, whilst resonating particularly with core target groups. We aimed to demonstrate the full opportunity of the role which encompasses the full range of services completed by firefighters in supporting the local community. This would include content specifically highlighting some of the “non-traditional” aspects of fire fighting such as advanced and trauma first aid, Hazmat, water rescue, fire risk assessment, safeguarding, leadership and management development pathways.
