Creation of informative information presented by The Greenest Suffolk

Creating the Greenest County is vision backed by all Suffolk councils and public sector organisations which is dedicated to inspiring residents, businesses and community groups to tackle the challenges of climate change. To enhance its outreach efforts, Creating the Greenest County sought a modernised website and an animated video to introduce its work to deliver a net zero Suffolk.

Objective

The primary aim was to create an engaging digital presence that would:

  • Simplify access to resources and information for Suffolk residents.
  • Showcase the county’s ongoing initiatives and achievements in sustainability.
  • Motivate individuals and organisations to participate in climate-positive actions.

Our Approach

  1. Website Redesign
    • User-Centric Design: We conducted in-depth research to understand the needs of Creating the Greenest County’s diverse audience, to ensure that the new website prioritised ease of navigation and accessibility whilst efficiently meeting the needs of site visitors.
    • Modern Aesthetics: The website features a clean and visually engaging design, incorporating the existing brand of Creating the Greenest County while enhancing its appeal to all audiences.
  2. Animated Videos
    • Message Clarity: We crafted a short, impactful animation designed to communicate Creating the Greenest County’s core objectives in an engaging and easy-to-understand manner.
    • Creative Style: Using neutral colours and a friendly illustrative style, the videos captured attention and encouraged positive behaviour change.
    • Multi-Platform Optimisation: The animations were optimised for social media, the website, and public presentations, ensuring maximum reach and engagement.

Challenges

One challenge was presenting climate action messages in a way that felt approachable rather than overwhelming. The simple, eye-catching illustrative style backed up by empowering and informative messaging ensured the content resonated with audiences.

This project demonstrated the power of thoughtful design and engaging content in driving meaningful action against climate change. Creating the Greenest County now has a digital toolkit that empowers the community to take sustainable steps forward, reinforcing Suffolk’s leadership in climate action.
