The Midlands Space Cluster is a dynamic initiative focused on strengthening the space sector within the Midlands region. Their mission is to foster collaboration among businesses, universities, and government agencies, thus promoting growth in the space industry.

 

The primary goal was to design a website that acts as a hub for the space-related businesses in the Midlands. The site should facilitate networking, provide resources, and offer a platform for business directory access.

The design focused on simplicity and functionality, ensuring easy navigation for all users. Key aspects of the design included:

 

  1. Responsive Layout: Ensured accessibility across devices, from desktops to mobile phones.
  2. Clear Information Architecture: Structured in a way that visitors could effortlessly find information about activities, events, and business opportunities.
  3. Brand Consistency: The design aligns with the Midlands Space Cluster’s professional and forward-thinking image, emphasising space exploration and innovation.

 

The website was built on WordPress, chosen for its flexibility and ease of content management. Capsule were able to flourish the Midlands Space Cluster design between the architecture of WordPress including building a custom Business Directory that helps regional businesses showcase their capabilities and connect with potential partners.
