The Challenge Zaptec Faced

At the time they partnered with Capsule, their objective was to broaden their UK presence and cultivate stronger relationships with potential B2B clients and installer networks. Upon initial discussions, Zaptec highlighted a key challenge of managing multiple audience segments and ensuring all advertising was reaching their target market. Their niche audience and complex sales cycle underscored the critical need for a well-defined strategy. The success of this project was largely attributed to our ability to effectively address these challenges.

What we did

Our initial efforts focused on honing the targeting of our advertising with in-depth keyword and audience research. We then worked to get campaigns live, also developing dedicated landing pages for each audience segment. Following this, we implemented site-wide retargeting campaigns across paid social media and display channels, alongside SEO and PPC aimed at improving paid and organic search performance and increasing website traffic from Zaptec’s target audience. Building on this foundation, we incorporated geotargeting into the strategy, deploying ‘firework’ campaigns on LinkedIn, a business-focused platform, to attract relevant audiences during key events.


Results

Our targeted approach delivered significant improvements in Zaptec’s digital marketing performance. Through strategic audience segmentation and refined advertising, we achieved:

  • Increased Website Traffic – Zaptec experienced a notable uplift in site visits, with a 31% increase in organic traffic.
  • Increase in Clicks– The LinkedIn ‘firework’ campaigns gained over 6,000 clicks all from one of Zaptec’s core audiences.
  • Increase in Impressions– Our Meta campaigns led to a total of 313,948 impressions, helping Zaptec increase its reach.
  • Increase in Conversions – Optimised landing pages and retargeting strategies resulted in a 52% improvement in conversions compared to the previous year.
  • Greater engagement rate – With strategic SEO work, campaigns and paid search efforts, Zaptec saw a 32% increase in engagement rate compared to last year.
